Fall Bucket List for Kids!

While the month of September signals the end of summer, it also means fall is on its way.  Just because school is back in session and pool season is over doesn’t mean that the fun has to end! Here is a bucket list of our favorite fall activities to make the most of the season.

Find a local farm that offers hayrides

As Halloween gets closer, a hayride is a fun way to get in a festive mood!

Visit a petting zoo

This is both a fun interactive outing and a way to introduce your kids to animals they may have only seen in books or on TV!

Make S’mores

Both gooey and delicious, S’mores are the perfect fall dessert- even without a campfire. Broil the marshmallows in the oven and have the kids help assemble the rest of the treat.

Go on a nature walk

Once the weather begins to cool down, a nature walk can be a great way to get outside after a busy day of school or activities. This can be a great opportunity to teach kids about their local ecosystems. Did you you know that the smell of fresh grass and pine trees has been known to make people feel calmer and reduce stress?

Try out a new fall themed recipe

Fall comes with it’s own set of great flavors! Try incorporating apples, pumpkin, or squash into your cooking to make the most of the season.
